At Blue Valley Counseling our team is here to help you. Each of our therapists have individual focus areas and rates.

Karli Farnham Jones,  MA, LCPC

Hi! I am the founder and owner of Blue Valley Counseling and a licensed professional counselor with an MA in Counseling and a BA in Psychology. I believe we all have experiences that leave us lost and disconnected from ourselves and others. As your therapist my goal is to help you process, heal, and grow as you work to explore your past and understand yourself better. I use psychotherapy and pull from attachment, psychoanalysis, and psychodynamic theories to help create a safe and holistic approach to counseling. Beyond therapy I am passionate about my dog Camp, longboarding, the enneagram, and my family.

My areas of focus are anxiety, phobias, teens and young adults, family conflict, feeling disconnected with self (feeling out of control or difficulty feeling your emotions), difficulty with intimacy and religious trauma

Andrea Stark,  MA, LCPC

I am a wife and mom of two plus I have three dogs (two of them are Great Danes). I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the dog park, doing anything creative, and thrifting. I obtained my Master of Arts in Counseling from MidAmerica Nazarene University with an emphasis in marriage, couple, and family therapy. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry from Hastings College and am currently working towards certification in play therapy.

I work with clients of all ages from school aged children to adults. I specialize in anxiety, depression and other mood disorders, adjustment and stress, eating disorders, and postpartum issues. I see children for play therapy and utilize art therapy as well. For my adult clients I practice talk therapy from a cognitive behavioral and solution focused approach. I believe in giving true empathy and authenticity with my clients. I want you to gain back control of your life and to know that there is always hope.

Shelby Duce, MA, LCPC

Hi, I am a licensed professional counselor and received my Master of Arts in Counseling degree with an emphasis in marriage, couples, and families from MidAmerica Nazarene University in May 2021. My background is in non-profit work and elementary education.

I was drawn to therapy because of the unique relationship it provides. There is a complex beauty in being able to sit across from someone, build trust with them, and engage with them in their story. My longing and hope is that my clients feel a comfort and peace as soon as they enter the therapeutic space; that they would find solace and freedom – a place where they can simply be.

When I am not seeing clients, I love to spend time with my family, watch a good movie, spend time with friends, and go out to breakfast or drink a good cup of coffee. I am a firm believer in approaching therapy and healing holistically – our minds and our bodies are so connected. My goal is to guide you towards healing, integrating both the body and the mind through a trauma focused, person-centered, attachment based, and emotionally focused approach.

I am so looking forward to meeting and coming alongside of you in this journey towards wholeness and healing.

Areas of focus: trauma and PTSD, women’s issues (self-esteem, identity, relational conflicts, body positivity), anxiety, perinatal care, and disordered eating.
